Ana Martinez

Division Manager - Austin, TX

As Division Manager, Ana oversees all operations of the Austin office. She is responsible for business development, planning and directing all operations, implementing team training and developing budget reviews, revenue and profit projections and office policies. She has managed a variety of projects for healthcare, research and government clients.

After graduating from ITESM in Monterrey, Mexico, where she studied architecture and urban design, Ana began her career as a steel detailer and draftsperson. She then worked as an estimator and assistant project manager before making the jump to general contracting where she worked as an estimator and project manager on interior renovations for government, healthcare, military and private projects.

Ana believes Veliz Construction is a diverse, fast-moving company that always presents her with new and challenging projects. It’s a place that thrives on change and innovation and she appreciates the opportunity to not only develop her own career, but also the chance to train and teach other team members.
